Black, white and silver feather mani with studs

Time to take a break from colorful and bright manis, time for something more classy and elegant but not for long. I promiss hahahaha. An appointment forced me to put away my pink and blue polishes and take some muted colors.

I printed out this design a couple of months back and pinned it on my wall of inspiration. The actual design is done by @kimiko7878 and I loved it from the minute I saw it. She's such an amazing artist and I planned on recreating a lot more of her in the near futur because she has done soooo many different amazing designs.

Items used:

essie - matte about you
Color Club "French Tip"
Color Club "Where's the soiree"
essence colour & go "icy princess"
studs from bornprettystore (use my coupon code SSUNX31 to get a 10% discount at their online shop)
nail art brush

As you can see on the pictures, my thumb and my pinkie became silver. Up to know this silver from essence is my favorite silver so far (I'm desperatly trying to find Push and Shove by OPI but somehow no store has it here). On my index finger I applied the black polish by Color Club and topped it with essie - matte about you and on the other two nails I applied French Tip by Color Club. With a tiny nail art brush I painted the feather on my ring finger with the black polish. I'm so proud how my feather turned out because I never painted such a small one up to now, only once a rather big one across four fingers. You can see it on my Instagram profil but you have to scroll down very long, I posted it in April 2014 but it's far from perfect. It was rather at the beginning of my nail art life. On my middle finger I painted silver and black polish diagonal towards the tip, once from the left, once from the right and let it dry. Right after I applied top coat I placed the studs where they belong and they sticked really well.

My nails are ready for the appointment so time to leave the house. Wish you all a nice day!!!

  1. Your feather looks amazing! I thought it was a water decal at first, I love it!! Haha I actually went shopping today and my best friend told she me was also desperately looking for Push & Shove but eventually she just ordered it online because no store has it anymore :/ Maybe you could try that?

    1. Yes I found some offers online but with all the shipment rates it's about 30€ for the bottle and that's not worth it. At least for me.

    2. Oooh no I wouldn't give 30€ to it either! I hope you find it cheaper somewhere!
