Black matte nails with chrome stamping

Hey guys! I'm still in bad not feeling so well but it's getting better. So that's a good time to post a nail design I did a couple of weeks ago. I don't know why I've never posted it up to now. Some mani just never made the blog. And today it's time for this design to show you.

I wanted to create something with a black matte background and something chrome on top. At the moment I really love everything matte combined with something shiny.

Items used:

essie "matte about you"
catrice "39 black to the routes"
b.pretty "6 chrome sweet chrome"
MoYou "Hipster back to the 20s - 03"
rhinestones

So I first painted all the nails in black and topped them off with essie - matte about you. Lately I discovered, that the b.pretty chrome polishes are perfect for stamping. That's why I chose this lovely pink shade to stamp one pattern of the MoYou - Hipster back to the 20s - 03 plate.

At the beginnig I wasn't really sure about if I should add a rhinestone on top or not. I also liked it like this but after a while I thought it's boring and added some pink rhinestones on it. And who doesn't want to have bling bling on their nails?

  1. Ooh this looks so great!! I also love the contrast between the matte and shiny :) I haven't heard of those b.pretty polishes but I really need some good stamping polishes so I'll keep my eye out for them!! (ps: I clicked "notify me" now so I guess we'll see if that function works for me!)

    1. Thank you so much! Well they are an Austrian drugstore brand in case you want I can send you some. The chrome polishes work really well. The other polishes of this brand aren't really my favorite.

    2. That's so sweet of you!! Currently I'm kind of on a no buy (or well, I'm saving up for a soon to release collection lol) so I would feel bad that I can't send you anything in return though :/ But maybe in a few months we could do a polish swap like that!
