Neon green matte comic nails

Before I start with everything I'd like to say sorry for my pictures. I always had struggles taking good picture of neon colors. If you have any tips please leave them down below in the comment box. I'd like to hear everything you have.

Items used:

essence colour & go "144 black is back"
essence colour & go "199 wild white ways"
Models Own "Toxic apple"
striping brush

When I do comic nails like this (which I only have done one time before I'll add the picture in the end of this post) I always start with painting my nails in black. For me it's easier to start off like this. When the black polish has dried I applied white polish but not all over the nail. I left a black border around my white polish. Why I applied the white polish is that the neon green color can pop out. So afterwards I took the neon green color and applied it on top of the white polish. In the end it looked like this. More or less like a ruffian mani.

Then I took a striping brush and painted a black line on the tip of my nail and voilá you already have the right shape. If you don't like this method you can as well paint your nails green first and then paint the black circle with a striping brush around your green nail.

At least in the end it should like this. Now it's almost done. I took again my striping brush and this time I dipped it into white polish and painted a sort of exclamation mark on the side of my nail, parallel to the outer black line. In the end I applied a matte top coat and the mani is finished.

My very first comic nails. I was so proud back then.
